New England Transgender Groups

 

 Tiffany Club of New England (TCNE)

  • That is us! Offering transgender social activities and support since the 1970′s, we are one of the oldest transgender groups in the world and one of very few with our own permanent clubhouse. We also run the First Event transgender conference each January. Newcomers are encouraged to drop in any Tuesday evening, 7:00 – 9:00 pm, or the first and third Saturday evening of the month. Come dressed or not. Dress here if you like. We are a very safe and friendly place to come out and/or establish connections in the community. Boston Area Transgender Support (BATS)

  • A peer run support group for young (teen, college, twenty-something) transgender people in the Boston area.

Compass

  • New England area female-to-male (FTM) trans support

Conneticut Outreach Society,

  • Hartford-based, The Connecticut Outreach Society (COS) is a support group for transgendered individuals and their spouses or significant others.

Innvestments

  • Innvestments is a non-sexual organization founded to support & to provide a socially acceptable outlet for the crossdresser, transvestite, transsexual & transgendered community located primarily on CAPE COD, the Islands & Southeastern MA.

New England Trans Community (NETC)

  • NETC is a social group for couples with at least one transgender and/or cross-dressing individual.

North Eastern Transwomens Alliance (NETA)

  • A New England transgender community resource in the North Shore MA/Southern NH area. They provide both health services and caring support for transgender people.  Support group meets weekly with guest speakers.

SISTERS:

  • Social and support group meeting in the greater Boston area.  Multiple chapters in New England

The Sunshine Club

  • The Sunshine Club is a non-sexual support organization that was founded in the Connecticut River Valley of Western Massachusett in 1991 to support, and provide knowledgeable education and information about, the transgendered community.   They meet monthly on the fourth Saturday of the month, see Sunshine Club Calendar or TCNE Calendar for dates.

 TGI Network of Rhode Island / Borderlands

  • Incorporated in 2011, TGI Network of Rhode Island is the only statewide organization providing support and advocacy for the TGI community in Rhode Island and surrounding areas.  Their Borderlands peer-led support group is open to TGI people and to those who are exploring whether a TGI identity is a good description of their experience.  TransPartners is open to loved ones of TGI people. Transitioning And Loving Life (TaLL)

  • T.a.L.L. is a transsexual support group located in southeast Connecticut. T.a.L.L. is open to all transsexual people as well as their friends, family, spouses, and significant others, regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation, gender, or stage in transition.

Tri-Ess New England

  • Tri-Ess’s New England Chapter based in New Hampshire.

UniTy of the Pioneer Valley

  • The UniTy group meets every 2nd Thursday of the month at 3300 Main Street, Springfield, MA. The meetings provide support to transgendered persons, their allies and all GLBTs.  They meet the second Thursday of the month, see their web site or TCNE Calendar for dates.

The XX Club

  • Waterbury CT based, The Twenty Club is a support group run by and for the transsexual community.
