Two very important Tiffany Club traditions were started in that eventful year 1981. The first-ever Awards Banquet, now called First Event, was held at the Waltham Comfort Inn in January. As the event name indicated, awards were presented to individual club members for their outstanding contributions to the club. The first Spring Outing was held in Provincetown in May.
