Why?
You spoke. We responded.
Our goal is to make attending First Event as inclusive, affordable and accessible as possible. We added a sliding scale component and expanded the number of grants that we offer. We acknowledge that the process may not be perfect. Our hope is that the community will continue to provide us respectful feedback on how we can improve and work together to make First Event the best that it can be.
First Event 2026 tickets will also be sold at the door.

Need-based scholarships are available to those who would not otherwise be able to attend (apply here).
