Vote_Yes_on_3_Upheld_2018TCNE’s membership and board wish to send a big THANK YOU shout out to the citizens of Massachusetts for upholding the civil rights of Transgender people to live and work in this great state.  At the November 6th Mid-Term elections, Massachusetts voters upheld a state law that protects transgender people from discrimination in public accommodations such as hospitals, restaurants, retail stores, rental establishments, and service establishments as well as educational institutions, recreational facilities including bathrooms and locker rooms.  The full list of public accommodations that would have been opened to discriminating against transgender people are here:  Massachusetts Public Accommodation Law.

THANK YOU MASSACHUSETTS!
