Kristin Beck, will be the keynote speaker for Boston Spirit Magazine’s Executive Networking Night, Wednesday, May 9, 2018, being held at the Marriott Boston Copley Place Ballroom from 6 to 9 p.m.
Kristin served for 20 years in the U.S. Navy SEALs before her transition, taking part in 13 deployments, including seven combat deployments. She was a member of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (also known as DEVGRU), a special counterterrorism unit popularly called SEAL Team Six, and received multiple military awards and decorations, including a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.
In addition to Kristin’s talk, the networking event will have several side sessions specifically geared toward workplace development for LGBT professionals. These sessions include “Best Practices for your Company’s Diversity & Inclusion Strategies” and “Financial Planning for LGBT Professionals”
