We are very sad to share that Jahaira M. DeAlto was murdered in Boston on Sunday. Jahaira was a legend in the Boston Ballroom scene, a beloved mother of so many at the house of Balenciaga, a community advocate, and a friend to many in our community.
We send our love and sympathy to all who were touched by her and to all of us who are feeling the pain of the stolen life of another transgender woman.
